What To Expect
On day one, we'll spend the afternoon exploring the park, scouting potential locations for Milky Way photography such as Eagle Lake, Otter Cliff, or Jordan Pond, and taking test shots to assess lighting conditions and compositions. As evening approaches, we will set up camera gear before sunset to capture the transition from daylight to darkness, including early night sky photography practice.
On day two, after a restful morning, review your night sky shots from the previous evening and make necessary adjustments to your settings or compositions. Take advantage of the daytime to relax and explore the park. For the evening, enjoy an early dinner before heading to our chosen location for capturing the Milky Way. We'll experiment with long exposures and compositions to capture the brilliance of the Milky Way against the dark sky.
On the final day of your astrophotography tour, we'll head to our chosen location for capturing the night sky around sunset time. We'll focus on creating star trail images using long exposures and sequences.
